PBGV won the best-in-show title at Westminster Kennel Show held in the USA, New york city on Monday 8 May 2023. A PBGV is originally from France and is traditionally used to hunt rabbits. A PBGV is very rare in the USA and popular in France. It is a friendly dog breed with other dogs and kids, their goal is to make you laugh every day.

    Petit basset griffon Vendeen named Buddy Holly has won the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show and was named best in the show. This is the first time a rare breed dog won the show. The owner/handler Janice Hayes said after her PBGV wins the show " I never thought that my dog will win this show and Buddy Holly is the epitome of this dog show. Nothing bothers him. They are independent, charming, and silly, their main goal is to make you laugh every day.

    Buddy Holly left 34 other hounds behind and grabbed the best-in-show title. It also defeated the other 6 finalists and takes honor at Westminster Kennel Club.
